How ArcAngels Was Built
ArcAngels was developed end-to-end using Claude Code by Anthropic — from smart contract design and on-chain deployment to a production-grade frontend. The entire stack was built through AI-assisted development: natural language prompts driving contract architecture, test coverage, deployment scripting, and UI implementation across a fully integrated workflow.
AI-Assisted Development with Claude
ArcAngels was developed using Claude Code (Opus) by Anthropic — an AI-powered development environment where architecture decisions, contract logic, and frontend code are produced through iterative natural language collaboration rather than traditional manual programming.
Smart Contract Development with Foundry
The AgentMarketplace contract was authored in Solidity 0.8.30 with via-IR optimization enabled. The full test suite — 14 unit tests covering listing, leasing, pay-per-compute billing, referrals, reviews, free trials, and withdrawals — was built and validated using Forge. Deployment was executed via a scripted broadcast through Foundry's forge script toolchain.
Deployed on Arc Network Testnet
Arc Network is Circle's stablecoin-native Layer 1 blockchain where USDC serves as the native gas token. The contract was deployed to Arc Testnet (Chain ID: 5042002, RPC: rpc.testnet.arc.network) at address 0x1e877...93E9 using a dedicated deployment wallet funded via Circle's USDC faucet. 18 agents were then seeded on-chain across 7 categories using a separate Foundry script.
Full-Stack Decentralized Application
The frontend is a Next.js application using wagmi v2 and viem for on-chain reads and wallet transactions, with Tailwind CSS for the interface. It features a complete dashboard with lease management, real-time analytics, provider tooling, a favorites system, and an integrated support chat — all wired directly to the smart contract on Arc Testnet.
About the developer
Emir is a strategist and builder at the intersection of Web3 infrastructure and decentralized finance. After advising companies like Stripe, Shopify, and Workday on monetization, he joined ConsenSys where he helped shape the revenue models behind MetaMask and Infura. In 2023, he co-founded Union Labs — a zero-knowledge interoperability protocol connecting blockchains without trusted third parties. He believes the next phase of crypto lies in bridging traditional finance liquidity and agentic commerce with Web3 — and ArcAngels is his exploration of what that future looks like.
